There's a Sam Carlson 4 fly rod , out there with three tips any feed back on this one?

There was a thread on that particular rod in this section but it looks like it was deleted because it was treading on some of the eBay rules.
Those old fishermen: They're slow-moving and crabby and some of them talk to themselves, but they can catch trout.

The Carlson rod is still listed on Ebay.it has 1 day left. this board does not allow Ebay Item numbers.

Somebody got a very good deal even if the rod only had 1 good tip! $2,525.55 for a Carlson quad is well below what I thought the rod would sell for.According
to the description the other 2 tips were fishable despite having issues( 1 was short,the other had a repair wrap).Given the rarity of a Carlson and how seldom
they come up on the secondary market it was a steal. Was anybody on The Forum the lucky buyer?
