Anyone know the status of the Flick Bio from Clark City Press?
This forum began as Clark's Classic Bamboo Rod Forum, founded by Clark Davis for all who share a passion for classic rods. To all, welcome to our Yuku Board, and tight lines. - banjo.

Creaky, I spoke to someone in Livingston recently and they told me that Roger Keckheisen's book on Art Flick was finished and due to be published in the
near future. I think I may have heard it from Bea Chatham, Russell's sister. I was fortunate to have had a long chat with Roger just a few months before
he suddenly died.
I was told that Chatham has sold his gallery and the Bar & Grill but is still planning to keep Clark City Press going. |

Thanks Michael - BTW, my compliments on your artwork, particularly the drawings-in and cover-of the Zeigler book. Really great companion to the text about the
Irati etc. Very nice.
I've heard about the same thing from Russell 6 months ago. I noticed Clark City just put out a new book (non-fishing), so lets hope good things are in store for Clark City. I miss the Bar and Grill as it was a treat on the way to the Park! |

Hello Creakycane, Thanks for the nice remarks about the Ziegler book illustrations. I really enjoyed doing them. My mother and I had a Thanksgiving duck
last night and I thought about Russell's "Great Duck Misunderstanding" numerous times whilst cooking and sipping! Oh, BTW, I can't take
credit for the cover of Norm's book...that was by Mike Stidham.
