			<description><![CDATA[ I cast? casted? castigated? (Not) the double parabolic &quot;Sinusoidal&quot; (I think that&#39;s right) 8-sider. I found it easy to cast with my slower
stroke. I could feel the subtle bump of the hinge (which one?....hmmm...I&#39;m gonna say the lower one) when a shorter amount of line was out, then it went
smooth with a longer length when the butt area began working more. I think Jerry enjoys practical testing of the kind of design stuff that some of us only
wonder about.

He had a pile of cane in sky blue socks, no cases, just socks.  Most, if not all, were 8-sided.  It was my belief that he used the same taper on four of them,
with the exception that he changed the tip taper every four inches -- all that work to just let people feel what a small change made.
