I own 3 Sage 500 series reels, 505L, 506L and 508, all made by Hardy. One problem I've had and many other owners as well, is that I keep losing the plastic
cap that covers the spindle nut. They could have done a better job on this aspect of an otherwise fine reel.
1. Does anyone know why they didn't use a cover similar to the Princess instead of these cheesy plastic things?
2. It's obvious that I'm going to have to glue these little buggers in place. Any suggestions...
