Examples would be different techniques or methods used by restorationists and makers. Tapers given here should come from your own developed tapers and tapers from makers who have had those tapers in print or are no longer alive, please do not ask for tapers from makers who are active unless that maker is posting their taper for use. Taper ExchangeThe exchange of tapers forum is for classic and personally developed tapers. The definition of classic tapers are those tapers that were developed by rodmakers that are no longer alive. Please understand that rod makers who have developed their tapers, and are active in the community, should not have their tapers cloned, or shared, without their permission, please refrain for asking for those tapers as it infringes on the maker. |

While classic is generally used for old things classic is also taken in the sense of first class or in the highest form therefore a fully dressed Salmon Fly, a Carrie Stevens Streamer are just as much classics as a Chernobyl Ant would be.
